Food and service were great. I had the Carne Asada Tampiqueña and my wife had Steak Fajitas. For some reason the rice on both orders was served cold, but the server quickly corrected it. Definitely large portions and we both left stuffed. Will definitely go back again.
I usually come here for their Taco Tuesday special, but I'll stop in for their quesabirria tacos whenever that craving hits! Their quesabirria is one of the best in the area. Their staff is also very friendly and attentive.
Lunch today was take out for my birthday. Yummy. Thai place makes some good tacos. Who what loves some fun tacos we had four pork tin steak and 10 chicken he'll give you onions cilantro, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, and two sauces are fantastic. We should try them.
Atmosphere is beautiful, service excellent food both in presentation and taste was top shelf best mole I have had.

I do not know if this place was bought out. I believe the old name was el gordo. Which I tried when I first moved to McHenry and was disappointed. El Vado Satisfied my hunger really good and fresh food! I wish we could have raised the volume on the music. I forgot to take a picture of my food I ordered a torta de milanesa and it was so delicious! I have to point out the host and the guy that was helping him seat the people as they were coming in they both were very fast at cleaning up and getting them seated right away! Great service! Good job! I would definitely return!

Great meal we had Quevo's rancheros and combo fajitas both very good! Waiter was very attentive and pleasant . Definitely a Hispanic atmosphere very colorful. We will be back for sure!
